Introduction

This is a 1d diffuser, i.e. the sound is primarily reflected on the horizontal plane (listening area). This ensures that as much sound energy as possible is retained in the room and reaches the listener in a controlled manner.
The advantage: it allows several diffusers to be placed in a row (array) and therefore an even stronger diffuse reflection field (lobes), as the reflection clusters add up.
A diffuser is primarily suitable for the mid and high frequencies and gives your room a unique sound aesthetic. Other measures are suitable for room modes, such as insulation or resonance absorbers, which tend to "take something away" from the room.
Suitable for studios for the rear wall, recording rooms, home cinemas, hi-fi rooms, etc.
These diffusors enhance the sound of your room thanks to their mathematically calculated design.

The design frequency of the diffuser is 856Hz, i.e. it works best between 856Hz - 3440Hz. This is basically the range that is important for most small to medium sized rooms and the ear is most sensitive in this range (see Fletcher Munson curve).
